Cu toate acestea, <strong>consecin\u021bele stresului<\/strong> necontrolat asupra s\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii fizice \u0219i emo\u021bionale pot fi profunde \u0219i, adesea, grave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Organiza\u021bia Mondial\u0103 a S\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii<\/strong> (OMS) define\u0219te stresul ca fiind <em>\u201ereac\u021bia fireasc\u0103 a organismului nostru atunci c\u00e2nd ne confrunt\u0103m cu cerin\u021be \u0219i presiuni care dep\u0103\u0219esc percep\u021bia noastr\u0103 de control\u201d.<\/em> Din perspectiva psihologiei moderne, stresul apare atunci c\u00e2nd sim\u021bim c\u0103 resursele personale (emo\u021bionale, mentale sau fizice) sunt insuficiente pentru a face fa\u021b\u0103 cerin\u021belor externe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mike George, autorul c\u0103r\u021bii <em>\u201eCum s\u0103 te relaxezi \u0219i s\u0103 \u00eenvingi stresul\u201d<\/em>, ne invit\u0103 s\u0103 privim stresul \u00eentr-un mod diferit, mult mai profund \u0219i mai personalizat.
